When does the JOY Conference begin and end?
The conference begins on Thursday night, November 4, at 8 pm with our Connection Time and Power Surge Prayer. It ends on Saturday, November 6, around noon. What is included in my weekend pass? We kick off on Thursday night with our Connection Time and prayer. There are 2 main services and breakouts on Friday. Saturday morning is our last main session. All of these sessions are included in your weekend registration pass. How much is registration? When you log on to the registration site, the price is $95. But...if you are traveling daily from a nearby location, enter the code LOCAL and it will give you a discount that brings the price down to $76. If you are staying at the Doubletree by Hilton, enter the code AG1 and it will also give you the discounted price of $76. Are meals included in my registration? No. There is a small lounge area in the hotel as well as a restaurant. Across the street are restaurants and down Front Street. Breakfast is provided for hotel guests only. How do I register a group? When you log onto the registration site, you will add yourself first, and then it will give you the option to add an additional person. You may enter as many additional people you would like. NOTE: You will need the email of each person to enter as all conference information is sent out individually. Does registering as a group ensure group seating? No. Unfortunately, we do not have group seating. What is the schedule? Thursday, November 4th: Registration begins at 6pm. Is there a host hotel?
Yes, the Doubletree by Hilton. Everything is held right here and you will not need to leave the hotel unless you choose to go outside to another restaurant for food. It is a beautiful hotel with excellent amenities. How do I make reservations for the host hotel? You may call the hotel at 607-722-7575 or register online . Use code AG1 to get discounted room rate of $129. How about shopping? Hey, we know ladies love to shop! Yes, we will have lots of vendors with their wares as well as a Parable Christian Bookstore. Is there a conference t-shirt and other items with the conference theme that we can purchase? Absolutely!!! In fact, we know women love variety so log onto our store site and you will find lots of choices: t-shirts, sweatshirts, dresses, water tumblers, masks, backpacks, etc. Make sure that you order early in order to have your swag in time for conference! When do doors open before the sessions? Doors open one half hour before each session. Are children welcome? Infants are welcome. Mothers with infants are asked to sit near the exit doors for prompt exit when necessary. Can teenagers attend? Yes! We encourage girls and women from ages 12 on up to attend! What is our World Changers Projects Offering this year? We are participating with Light the Way on behalf of our national office.
